I have been actively involved with IPPA since the first ICPP conference in 2013. My commitment to the association is demonstrated not only by my regular participation in its conferences and workshops, but also by my direct contribution to supporting early career scholars through teaching residential courses in its Winter School program. Known for my commitment to collaborative and network-developing approaches within the discipline, my extensive research experience in policy process theory, gender and politics, and comparative public policy strongly aligns with IPPA's mission to foster a vibrant, theoretically, substantively, and methodologically plural scholarly community. Furthermore, I am committed to increasing public policy research-teaching integration and fostering greater parity of esteem between research and teaching in the discipline, as demonstrated by my co-editorship of the world’s first Handbook of Teaching Public Policy. Finally, I am a vocal advocate for the values IPPA upholds—ensuring our discipline becomes more diverse, equitable, and global in its outlook, particularly with regards to supporting communities whose experiences I share, such as early career scholars and women, as well as serving as a steadfast ally to members of other under-represented groups. I am eager to contribute to IPPA's continued success by serving on the College.
