IPPA College Election (2025-2029)

Vote

The International Public Policy Association is a non-profit organization governed by a College of 24 members representing individual members, with half of them up for renewal every two years for a four-year term, and currently 38 members representing institutional members. The four-year mandate of the elected College members can be renewed once.

IPPA is pleased to announce the upcoming College elections, which will renew 12 of its College members for a 4-year term beginning in May 2025 and continuing until May 2029.

According to the Constitution and by-laws of the IPPA approved by the Executive Committee, candidates for the 2025-2029 College election must:

      • have been a member of the Association for at least two years by the time of the election (since 2023).

      • be up to date with their annual dues (for 2025).

The election process begins with a call for candidates. Interested members are required to submit their nominations through the IPPA website by clicking on the “I want to be a candidate” button above. Candidates are required to provide a brief statement introducing themselves and explaining their motivations for joining the College.

The call for candidates is open until March 21, 2025.

An Electoral Commission formed by the Executive Committee will validate the applications. The list of candidates will be published on the IPPA website on April 1, 2025. Every individual member who is up-to-date with their annual subscription will be invited to vote for up to 12 candidates and choose those who will represent them in the College from April 1-15, 2025. The list of elected members will be published on the IPPA website on April 16, 2025.
