The Summer School will take place at the International Conferences Center of Mbalmayo.
The Mbalmayo International Conference Center (CICM) is located 50 km from Yaoundé and 30 km from Nsimalen International Airport. Situated in the heart of Mbalmayo, the CICM benefits from a peaceful and green environment, ideal for concentration and successful events. It is easily accessible by road or train, with regular connections from major cities in Cameroon. The center is the perfect venue for all types of events, offering accommodation, catering services, conference rooms, and more.
Mbalmayo is a municipality in Cameroon, located in the Centre region and the Nyong-et-So’o department, of which it is the capital. The town lies on the banks of the Nyong River, 50 km south of the capital Yaoundé, along National Road 2. In 2018, it had a population of 122,808 inhabitants, with geographical coordinates: 3°31’ North, 11°30’ East. The town's economy is mainly based on agriculture. Additionally, the brewing industry (Oyack) and the timber industry (Nseng-Nlong) contribute to its economic activities. Mbalmayo is home to several wood processing factories and a training school for water and forestry technicians. In recent years, the department has been promoting its tourism potential, particularly through the ecotourism site of Ebogo and the Marian sanctuary (a structure built on the rock at Nseng Nlong).
