On this page, you will find information about Nairobi.
Nairobi is the capital and largest city of Kenya, located in the central part of the country. It's a vibrant and diverse city known for being a major hub of commerce, culture, and technology in East Africa. Nairobi is unique because it's one of the few cities in the world with a national park, Nairobi National Park, situated just outside the city center, where visitors can see wildlife like lions, giraffes, and zebras against the backdrop of city skyscrapers.
The city is also a key center for international organizations, with many UN agencies based there, and it has a rich history influenced by both colonial and indigenous cultures. Nairobi's mix of modern skyscrapers, bustling markets, and leafy neighborhoods reflects its dynamic growth and its role as a gateway between Africa and the rest of the world.
