The International Public Policy Association (IPPA) and the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) are issuing the call for papers for the 5th International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP5). The conference will take place at the Raval Building of the University of Barcelona, from 6 to 8 July 2021. The Universitat de Barcelona (UB), the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) also collaborate in the organization of this edition.
The call for Papers is now open until 29 January 2021. The paper proposals can be theoretical, methodological, and/or empirical, provided they contribute to the research questions of one of the ICPP5 panels. Before submitting a proposal, we advise you to browse the list of panels to find the panel that interests you the most and to read carefully its objectives and Call for Papers to thoroughly understand the research questions proposed by the panel chairs.
Please note that the IPPA and the IBEI are contemplating different scenarios to adapt to the evolution of the current COVID-19 pandemic. We have put in place flexible measures to facilitate your attendance, including the refund of your registration or the shift to virtual participation in case of a health issue, quarantine measures imposed by local authorities, travel bans, among others. We are also preparing to hold ICPP5 in different formats, starting with a classical face-to-face Conference, but also a virtual or a hybrid one. We will update you regularly on the evolution of the situation and encourage all scholars, to submit your papers before 29 January 2021.
Information on how to submit a panel can be found on this page.
