Linked to the project "Collaborative Governance, Policy Design and Integration, and the Sustainable Development Goals: Concepts, instruments and processes to promote sustainable and resilient development in the touristic city of São Bento do Sapucaí" (under the PPPP FAPESP - Public Policy Research Programme) this postdoctoral project aims to develop a theoretical framework based on the literature on governance, public policy, sustainability (indicators), SDGs and resilience in order to develop a tool that supports collaborative governance and co-creation to enhance cross-sectoral and transdisciplinary cooperation and between state/municipalities and society/citizens, while taking into account the peculiarities of a small municipality with a tourist vocation, but with the potential to transfer the tool to other contexts.
It is desirable that the candidate has proven experience in systematic literature review, availability to participate in field trips, workshops and meetings in the municipality of São Bento do Sapucaí, as well as experience in conducting workshops. Moreover, it is important for candidates to have a background and interest in the area of public policy and its interface with the environment and tourism, considering especially the local scale of small municipalities.
The position is open to Brazilians and foreigners, but very good Portuguese language skills are required. The researcher selected will receive a FAPESP Postdoctoral Scholarship worth R$ 9,047.40 per month and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity. The scholarship will last for 24 months. As part of the scholarship, it is possible to apply for a research stay abroad of up to six additional months.
