We are pleased to announce an open call for nominations to join the Executive Committee of the Global South Policy Process Research Network (GSPPRN)—a research and pedagogical collective founded in 2023 to center the voices, knowledge systems, and policy process scholarship emerging from and about the Global South. As the network transitions into its next phase, we are seeking passionate, early-career and emerging scholars or practitioners to join the leadership team and help co-shape the network’s agenda, events, and engagement with the wider IPPA community.

🔹About GSPPRN

The GSPPRN is a thematic network of the International Public Policy Association (IPPA). We aim to:
- Advance theoretical and empirical scholarship on policy processes in and from the Global South;
- Foster South–South and South–North knowledge exchange;
- Create inclusive pedagogical spaces that support early-career scholars;

🔹We are seeking nominations for the following positions:
- Co-Chair(s) (1–2 positions)
- Events and Programming Lead
- Membership and Engagement Lead

Each position is expected to serve a two-year term (2025–2027), with an average commitment of 2–4 hours per month. All nominees must be IPPA members at the time of appointment or willing to become members.

🔹 Who Should Apply?

We encourage nominations from:
- Graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career faculty;
- Scholars and practitioners working on public policy, governance, and development in the Global South;
- Individuals committed to equity, interdisciplinary dialogue, and rethinking dominant paradigms in policy research.

We strongly welcome applications from underrepresented regions and groups.
